Hairstyle: (chunky dry twist done on dry hair)
Yesterday..
I started my first day of interning with the Marketing/Sales department of a Brookdale residence that I already work at. I had a very good first day! I helped set up a few programs, gave a few tours, I even made a poster board out of an old big picture frame that had been trashed. I put in a few orders for a Valentine's Day tea party and of course PAPERWORK and copying. I actually liked doing all of it.
Even before that, of course I stopped by to see my kids at school. When I got there, they all screamed "Happy New Year Ms. Shaniqua" lol. It was too cute! I missed from being there with them, it's going to be hard when I return back to school in a few days x_x (bittersweet). I don't even get paid to be there with them, but i'd volunteer to be with them anyday.
When I got home, I did some thinking about Howard's Grad school program, I'm really thinking of going there. I love the HBCU lifestyle anyways, I heard from a few reliable sources that their program was the best and it would be an amazing experience if I attended.
